At least two vehicles were involved in a crash at Newkirk Avenue and Westminster Road around 8:30pm Monday evening, though fortunately no one was hurt, neighbors told us.

According to a neighbor, the car that caused the crash didn’t heed the stop sign at Westminster and Newkirk – something that residents say routinely happens.

“I am always nervous crossing Westminster for that reason,” neighbor Tom wrote to us.

Readers who emailed us about the crash, which one man told us resulted in a neighbor’s brick wall being smashed and a person’s parked car being hit – and turned 90 degrees, stressed how many accidents have occurred at that intersections.

“Another night, another accident on the corner of Newkirk and Westminster,” a neighbor wrote to us.

What do you think needs to happen to make the intersection safer?
