Couple Stabbed In Sunset Park Early Saturday
Police are searching for the man in the above photos in connection to an assault that occurred on 4th Avenue in Sunset Park early Saturday morning.
At approximately 4am on May 27, a 22-year-old woman got into an argument with an unidentified male in front of 1004 4th Avenue, police say. The suspect then slashed the woman in the neck and stabbed her 26-year-old male friend in his back, hand, and left arm before fleeing the scene by foot.
It is not clear what the argument was about.
The two victims were treated at Lutheran Medical Center and are expected to recover from their injuries, according to police.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20-25 years-old, 5’4″, 140 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, blue shirt, and blue jeans. The suspect has a tattoo that reads “Mexico” on his neck.
