Could This Be The End For Mezini?

It wouldn’t be the first time that we have wondered if Mezini (492 5th Avenue between 11th and 12th Streets) has left the neighborhood.

We were in the area the evening of Monday, August 31, and dinner was not being served. You may have to find hookah and oysters elsewhere.

Mezini has been open for just over two years. We haven’t been able to reach anyone on the phone, and a voicemail is not available when calling their number. Some of the recent Yelp reviews have been less than flattering, so this may spell the end.
