The Delicious Winner of the Apple Pie Bake-Off

Congrats to annual apple pie bake-off winner Joe, pictured below with judge Elaine. His pie was the winner, the judges said, because it packed the most apple flavor. He said he managed that by using five different kinds of apples! He had some delicious competition, and all the pies tasted great.

We didn’t get a recipe from Joe so we’ll put it to you, readers. What are your favorite ways to make an apple pie?
