Corner of 4th Ave and 11th Street Set For Large Demolition

Brownstoner reported yesterday that 4th Avenue and 11th Street appears to be on the brink of one epic construction project.

In addition to the demolition of Cafe 474’s old building, which we reported had been purchased by Fourth Eleventh Development LLC back in February of this year, permits have also been issued for the demolition of 472 4th Avenue (Urban Spaces), the Laundromat at 470 4th Avenue, and five townhouses on 11th Street (233 – 241).

Brownstoner does note that “information behind the development LLC is scarce and they have not filed any new building permits yet, leaving the scale of the new development unknown,” so it’s still anyone’s guess as to what is coming. That said, we’d wager that the condo brigade is about to get a new member.
