Cops Seek Three iPhone Fraudsters

Police are seeking help in identifying three men suspected of opening multiple cellphone accounts using fraudulent information in November in the vicinity of the NYPD’s 61st Precinct.

The suspects purchased six Apple iPhones between 2:30pm on November 28 and 7:15pm on November 30, using a 33-year-old male victim’s name and personal information to pay for the service, cops say.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1: White male, in his 30s, heavy set, bald, wearing a green jacket.

Suspect #2: White male, in his 40s, balding, wearing a black jacket.

Suspect #3: White male, late 20s to early 30s, approximately 6’0″, with dark colored hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website, or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577. Police say all calls are confidential.
