Some might say that going to McDonald’s is like taking your life into your hands because of the quality of the food. But here in Brooklyn, the phrase seems to take on a harsher light considering the tendency for violence to break out there.

The latest incident occurred at the 840 Atlantic Avenue McDonald’s, off Vanderbilt Avenue, at around 1:10am on Thursday, February 25. Police are still looking for the male suspect who pulled a gun and fired at another man outside the fast-food restaurant after a verbal dispute.

According to police:

The suspect then pulled out a handgun and fired one shot into the victim’s car; the shot did not hit the victim but it shattered his passenger’s side window and ended up in his dashboard. The suspect fled the scene in a black SUV in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid 30s, weighing around 190 pounds, and sporting a mustache and a “soul patch.”
