Cops Seek Help Identifying Suspects Who Stole Sunglasses

A man and woman were caught on surveillance video allegedly robbing a Flatbush Avenue eyeglass store of $1,200 worth of sunglasses and police are asking for the public’s help in ID’ing them.

The incident occurred at 1:26pm on Friday, January 30 inside the Cohen’s Fashion Optical at 395 Flatbush Avenue Extension, located across the street from Brooklyn’s Long Island University and Junior’s Restaurant.

The suspects reportedly entered the store, took two Cazal Sunglasses, and fled on foot southbound on Flatbush.

The man is described as a black male with medium complexion, wearing a black Du-rag, navy blue bubble jacket, dark jeans and a backpack.

The woman is described as a Hispanic woman with light skin, multi-colored hair, black boots, black pants, and a grey jacket.
