Cops are searching for a suspect who got away with $2000 after cloning ATM cards at two TD Bank locations, including one on 65th Street. The suspect, who is wanted for grand larceny, has evaded the police for almost eight weeks.
The first incident took place on Thursday, July 14 at approximately 4pm, when the suspect cloned a victim’s ATM card and withdrew $1,500 from their account at the TD Bank located at 269 5th Avenue (at 1st Street) in Park Slope.
On Friday, July 15 at approximately 8:11am, the same suspect cloned another victim’s ATM card and withdrew $500 from a TD Bank ATM machine located at 1301 65th Street (at 13th Avenue).
Police describe the suspect as male, white, approximately 40 to 50 years old, 6’0″-6’2″, with a beard, and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, camouflage shorts, black baseball hat, dark glasses, and sandals.
