Cops Seek ATM Card Clone Clown After 5th Avenue Bank Swipe [VIDEO]

Cops are searching for a suspect who got away with $2000 after cloning ATM cards at two TD Bank locations. The suspect, who is wanted for grand larceny, has evaded the police for almost eight weeks.

The first incident took place on Thursday, July 14 at approximated 4pm, when the suspect cloned a victim’s ATM card and withdrew $1,500 from their account at the TD Bank located at 269 5th Avenue (at 1st Street).

On Friday, July 15 at approximated 8:11am, the same suspect cloned another victim’s ATM card and withdrew $500 from a TD Bank ATM machine located at 1301 65th Street (at 13th Avenue) in Dyker Heights.

Police describe the suspect as male, white, approximately 40-50 years old, 6’0″-6’2″, with a beard, and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, camouflage shorts, black baseball hat, dark glasses, and sandals.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting your tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. Police say all calls are confidential.
