Cops Searching For Two Purse Snatchers In Sheepshead Bay [Video]

Help cops find suspected purse snatchers in two separate grand larceny incidents only blocks apart in Sheepshead Bay and Manhattan Beach.

The first thief struck earlier this week in front of 2 West End Avenue. The suspect crept up behind a 67-year-old woman and grabbed the purse out of her hand at 9:30pm on February 6, said cops.

He nabbed $800 in cash, her cell phone, 2 credit cards, and 1 debit card — but went on a rather tiny spending spree of $30 at a McDonald’s in Park Slope.

The suspect is described by police as a black or Hispanic man in his 20s, 5 feet 9 inches, and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, black pants, and gray sneakers.

About three months earlier but only blocks away, a different suspect yanked a wallet out of a woman’s purse in broad daylight inside the Dunkin Donuts at 1427 Sheepshead Bay Road near East 15th Street, said cops. She swiped the purse on Wednesday, November 11, 2016, at 2pm and spent $166 on the victim’s debit card

The suspect is described by police as a white female, about 17-years-old with a light complexion, brown eyes, and brown hair. She was last seen wearing gray sneakers, a dark green jacket, and blue jeans.
