Cops Searching For A Luxury-Purse Thief In Brighton Beach

Cops are searching for a woman accused of swiping a Versace purse from an unlocked car late last year.

The suspect grabbed the purse from a Nissan sedan in front of 151b West End Avenue in Brighton Beach, on October 15, 2016, at 2:30pm, said cops. She nabbed two credit cards, two gift cards with $50 apiece, and a New York State driver’s license.

The thief then bought cigarettes at the 7-11 at 708 Brighton Beach Avenue, using a stolen credit card, according to police reports.

The suspect is described by police as an adult white woman. She was last seen wearing a green top, black pants, and grey sneakers.
