Cops Search For Suspect Who Groped Sleeping Woman On Q Train

Police are searching for a suspect who was spotted fondling a woman’s chest while she was asleep on the Q train.

On Friday, August 12 at approximately 9:45pm, the 29-year-old victim boarded a southbound Q train at the 34th Street station in Manhattan heading towards the Ocean Parkway station in Brighton Beach, cops say. Sometime before the Dekalb Avenue stop in Brooklyn, she fell asleep on the train.

The suspect entered the subway car of the victim at the Dekalb Avenue station. A 39-year-old male witnessed the victim being touched on the chest by the suspect near the 7th Avenue station stop, a police spokesperson said.

When the victim awoke and exited the train at the Ocean Parkway subway station, the witness told her the suspect touched her chest. The suspect continued southbound on the train.

Police describe the individual as male, while, approximately 35 years old, 5’9″, 175lb with a light complexion and brown hair.

He was last seen wearing brown sandals, blue shorts, and a pink shirt.
