Cops Search For Suspect In Q Train Assault
Police are searching for a suspect accused of pushing a woman down the stairs at the Newkirk Plaza Q train earlier this month.
The victim, 55, was walking into the Newkirk Avenue and East 16 Street subway station around 9:30am on September 1, when the suspect kicked and pushed her down the stairs, leaving the victim with cuts on her knee and ankle, according to police reports.
The suspect is described as a 25-year-old woman pictured left, 5’5″, 125 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing pink baseball hat, white sneakers, pink tank top and light blue jeans.
