Cops Are Searching For A Subway Groper Who Assaulted A Woman On The 5 Train [Updated]
Careful on the crowded trains.
The person seen in this cell phone photo allegedly took advantage of the crowded rush hour subway car to grab the buttocks of a 26-year-old female straphanger, rub against her, and then move away before she could follow or get someone else to help catch him.
The “forcible touching” assault took place last Friday, February 12 at 8:50am aboard a Manhattan-bound 5 train, shortly after it left the Nevins Street station.
The woman managed to snap a cell phone photo of the suspect before he got away.
The suspect is described as being in his 60s, standing approximately 5-feet-6-inches tall while wearing a black North Face ski cap.
