Cops Search For ‘Pink Lady’ In Degraw Street Metrocard Halloween Ripoff
While many were digging through their Halloween bounty for their favorite candy after a night of trick-or-treating, a suspect was pinching a pocketbook out of a car in Cobble Hill.
Cops say that on Monday, October 31, someone snatched that pocketbook from the inside of a parked car in front of 177 Degraw Street (at Cheever Place near the BQE) at approximately 11:30pm.
An unidentified individual then attempted to use a stolen Metrocard from that pocketbook a few days later on Wednesday, November 2 at a Canal Street train station turnstile in Manhattan.
Cops describe the individual as female, black, and last seen wearing a pink jacket.
