Cops Recover .357 Revolver During Search Warrant At Sheepshead Bay Houses

Cops arrested three people and recovered a .357-caliber revolver Friday morning during a search warrant at the Sheepshead Bay Houses.

Police say they raided the residence, near Nostrand Avenue and Avenue W,  just after 7am and cuffed two men, ages 28 and 23, and a 20-year-old woman. They also recovered several rounds of bullets along with the revolver.

The NYPD said they are still processing the arrests and did not have information on the names or charges for the three people taken into custody.

Cops have made several gun arrests at the housing complex this year, including pulling a firearm off a teen suspected of gunning down a 36-year-old man on the sidewalk near Bragg Street and Avenue W. Police also recovered a loaded pistol and a stash of forged credit cards in October during a raid at the Sheepshead Bay Houses.

Assemblywoman Helene Weinstein announced this Fall that she had secured $2 million in state funds for improved safety measures, including better lighting and more surveillance cameras, at the Sheepshead Bay/Nostrand Houses.
