Police are searching for two men in connection to a series of late-night restaurant burglaries in our area that have resulted in the theft of nearly $30,000.

According to police, the two suspects, shown in the surveillance images above, hit the three businesses during one week last month, including two in a single night.

They first broke into Cafe Dada (57 7th Avenue) at around 10:20pm on Wednesday, August 18, where cops say they took off with a safe and about $1,500.

Then on Saturday, August 22, cops say the thieves robbed two places in two hours: first, at 1:30am, they used a crowbar to break through the front door of Bar Toto (411 11th Street), where they grabbed $1,500 (and were caught on the security camera); then at 3:30am, the suspects made their biggest score, taking a safe with about $24,450 out of Greenwood Park (555 7th Avenue).

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.

Update from September 22 at 3:15pm: In addition to the burglaries above, we have confirmed that a burglary took place on Tuesday, September 1 at 12:01am at Mura One Sushi (369 5th Avenue, between 5th and 6th Streets).
