Cook Alongside Church Ave Chefs While Helping Neighbors
From Rhubarb to Roti Soup Kitchen

Volunteers are needed to help cook for the Church Avenue BID’s From Roti to Rhubarb second soup kitchen/cooking class. You will be assigned to work alongside chefs from Shayna’s, El Acuario, Wheated, and Am Thai Bistro in creating traditional dishes from their countries which you will help will serve to 75 people at the Flatbush Reformed Church’s weekly soup kitchen.

The shifts are:

Friday, January 25, late afternoon through evening
Saturday, January 26, 9am-12pm: prep and cook
Saturday, January 26, 11:45am-2:45pm: serve, clean up at the church

A driver with a vehicle is also needed on both days to transport ingredients and food. All volunteers must be over 18.
