A huge thank you to the volunteers at Congregation Beth Elohim, who have kept up their work since Hurricane Sandy, and who could still use more helping hands. The relief kitchen continues daily from 8-11am, and you can sign up for various work shifts online. Here’s what they’re working on:

Monday and Tuesdays: 100 sandwiches to the Ocean School and 400 sandwiches to the Action Center in Far Rockaway
Wednesdays: 500 sandwiches to the Gravesend Tenant Association in Coney Island
Thursdays: 200 sandwiches to Park Slope Woman’s Shelter, and 300 sandwiches to the Gravesend Tenant Association
Fridays: 400 sandwiches to the Gravesend Tenant Association and Hot Family Style Dinners with Apple Juice to the The Red Hook Initiative
