After wading through a lengthy approval process, Hamilton’s (2826 Fort Hamilton Parkway) may soon be getting the stamp of approval they need to open their sidewalk café.

Next Tuesday, April 14, Community Board 7’s Transportation Committee will discuss the unenclosed sidewalk café permit for Hamilton’s — something which the restaurant has long wanted. The outdoor space would include 30 tables and 64 chairs.

The public is welcome to attend the meeting, which will be held at 6:30pm at St. John – St. Matthew Emmanuel Lutheran Church at 283 Prospect Avenue, between 5th and 6th Avenues.

Transportation Committee members will then make a presentation about the permit at CB 7’s full community board meeting on Wednesday, April 15 at 6:30pm. The meeting will take place at CB 7’s board office, located at 4201 4th Avenue.

Depending on what transpires during the two meetings, board members may vote on whether or not to approve the permit.
