Colonia Verde Closed For Vacation
Colonia Verde (219 Dekalb Avenue between Adelphi Street and Clermont Avenue) will be closed for the next several days, according to a note on the restaurant’s website. The eatery, which recently began holding weekly pig roasts in their backyard, never opens on Mondays–however, they’ll also be closed tomorrow (August 26) through the week. They expect to reopen on Tuesday, September 2.
Unfortunately, that means no juicy slow-cooked pork from them this Sunday–but you can decide what else on the menu appeals to you and join them again for a meal starting at 6pm next Tuesday.
