C'mon, Get Happy Hour: Drinky Deals In Ditmas Park

Going out in New York City can really take a toll on your bank account–but luckily for us, there are several neighborhood joints who offer wallet-saving Happy Hour specials. Since you won’t need to pay subway fare, consider generously tipping your bartender.

773 Lounge
Where: 773 Coney Island Avenue between Cortelyou and Dorchester Roads
When: Monday-Friday, 4-7pm
What: $1 off all drinks, and $6 for a can of Rolling Rock and shot of Town Branch Bourbon. Plus, you can try all those goodies, including a banana walnut bread ice cream sandwich um hello, loaded potato skin bites, at the bar’s Shack in the Back, now open 4pm-4am Tuesday-Friday, 12pm-4am Saturdays, and 12pm-2am Sundays.

Bar Chord
Where: 1008 Cortelyou Road between Stratford Road and Coney Island Avenue
When: Monday-Friday, 4-7pm; Saturday-Sunday, 2-7pm
What: $2 cans of beer,  $1 off wine, $5 draft and well drinks, $7 for a beer and shot, and free snacks. Throw some tunes on the carefully-curated jukebox and prepare to get down.

The Castello Plan
Where: 1213 Cortelyou Road between between Westminster and Argyle Roads
When: Thursday-Tuesday, 4-8pm; Wednesday, 4pm-1am
What: Daily happy hours consist of $4 wines, $6 beers, and $6 cocktails, plus their new signature cocktails are $7 at Wednesday’s all night HH, and they’ve changed up the food menu as of late. Also on Monday nights, there are all-you-can-eat mussels for $10, and $1 oysters on Saturdays from 2-8pm.

The Dogwood
Where: 1021 Church Avenue between E 10th Street and Stratford Road
When: Monday-Friday, 5-7pm
What: Beers will be $3-5 and wine $5-7 per glass. Pair something from the all-American drink menu with a blue cheese burger, skillet mac and cheese, or shrimp and grits.

Hamilton’s
Where: 2826 Fort Hamilton Parkway between E 4th and E 5th Streets
When: Monday-Friday, 11am-7pm
What: Cheap drinks for much of the day (beers are $3-4, and select wines $5), plus free WiFi for those, um, hard at work. Just make sure to anchor that booze with a grilled eggplant sandwich or smoked trout salad before your conference call.

Lark
Where: 1007 Church Avenue between E 10th and E 11th Streets
When: Fridays and Saturdays, 4-7pm
What: Enjoy $1 off beer and wine for yourself, plus $1 off ice cream for the under-agers from 4-5pm both days.

Ox Cart
Where: 583 Argyle Road on the corner of Newkirk Avenue
When: Seven days, 5-6pm and 11pm-12am
What: Draft beers, well drinks, and select wines all $4. Watch the game, eat a Good Ol’ Boy, and make sure you’re wearing drawstring pants.

Shenanigans
Where: 802 Caton Avenue on the corner of E 8th Street
When: Seven days, 5-7pm
What: Get draft beers and well drinks two for the price of one, order food in, and sit in their yard.

Sycamore
Where: 1118 Cortelyou Road between Stratford and Westminster Roads
When: Seven days, 2-8pm; “Reverse Happy Hour” 12am-close
What: During regular Happy Hour, well drinks are $3, and drafts and wine are $1 off–plus on weekends, mimosas and Bloody Marys are $5. Latecomers can also wind down the night/morning with $2 off drafts and $5 shots of Jim Beam from 12am-close.

Visions Restaurant & Bar
Where: 750 Coney Island Avenue between Cortelyou Road and Avenue C
When:  Seven days, 4-8pm; Friday, 9-11pm
What: Regular Happy Hour, you can expect $3 beers, $5 Vodka Cranberries, Rum and Cokes, and Whiskey Sours, and $3 tequila shots (this, actually, is until midnight). Then Friday nights from 9-11pm, buckets of Heineken Light are $10.
