Clothing Donation Bin Catches Fire
The for-profit clothing donation bin that was recently placed on 14th Street at 4th Avenue seems to have been set on fire. The FDNY was unable to provide any details, but according to a neighbor, the fire occurred on Saturday morning at about 6am. He tells us the FDNY response was quick, arriving about five minutes after the call was placed, and that the fire was put out pretty quickly.
A reminder that if you’d like to file a complaint about a clothing donation bin being illegally placed on a public sidewalk, you can find a form here.
