Clinton Hill Shooter Makes Getaway On Citi Bike
A confrontation between two men near the intersection between Spencer Street and DeKalb Avenue this morning left one bleeding on the ground and the other fleeing – first via foot and then via Citi Bike.
Police are searching for the suspect, described as a black man between 18 and 25 years of age, who they said fled the scene at around 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, running until he came upon a bike share docking station and rented a bike.
The victim, 60-year-old Jim Gerardeau, was taken to Kings County Hospital to be treated for a bullet wound to the leg.
