Read Across America, that annual celebration all about the power of books and reading, is being celebrated tomorrow (Friday, March 6) at over a dozen Brooklyn Public Library branches that will be marking the occasion with a borough-wide reading of “Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type,” written 15 years ago by Brooklyn residents Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin.

Locally, you and your child can actually attend more than one reading+fun activities:

  • 11am-12pm at Bedford Library at 496 Franklin Avenue — With a surprise guest reader and other surprises.
  • 3:30-4:30pm at Clinton Hill Library at 380 Washington Avenue — Enjoy the reading and then make a cow craft.

Cronin and Lewin will also be available for storytime on Saturday, March 7 at 11am at Greenlight Bookstore.
