If you’re a full-time city employee interested in getting a master’s degree, here’s your chance at receiving a fully- or partially-funded graduate education. The Mayor’s Graduate Scholarship Program connects eligible employees with scholarships to area universities to pursue degrees in law, education, social work, computer science, nursing, public health, engineering, policy analysis, and business and public administration.

Applicants for the selective program must have completed a bachelor’s degree program by the start of the Fall 2014 semester, must be a full-time city employee and remain as such during their studies. You can find the full list of qualifications here.

Qualified workers should submit their applications through their Agency Personnel Office by November 18, although some agencies may require earlier submission. An optional information session about the program will be held  from 5-7pm on Thursday, October 24 at 1 Centre Street (at the end of Chambers Street). If you are unable to make the event, you can send questions via the Department of Citywide Administration Services’ form.
