Come on out this Sunday, May 1st, for the Annual Church Avenue Street Fair.

The Fair will be happening from noon to 6pm on Church Avenue, between Coney Island Avenue and Rugby Road.

Check out the great line-up — which includes a $1 Restaurant Hour; free raffle; rides; lots of shopping; great food; and free dance, gymnastics and music performances.

The Fair is co-sponsored by the Church Avenue BID and the 70th Precinct Community Council, and sponsored by CAMBA, Downtown Natural Market, Empire BlueCross BlueShield, and Flatbush Optical.

Activity Schedule (subject to change)

  • Noon – 1:00 pm: $1 Restaurant Hour at participating restaurants
  • Noon to 4:00 pm: Paw Art (watercolor paw painting for dogs and their families) at Pawsitive Veterinary (1103 Church Ave.)
  • 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm: Basics of (Fun) Finances for kids age 8 to 11 (led by People’s United Bank)

ALL DAY

  • Live Performances…Dance, gymnastics, and music performances at the giant performance floor at the intersection of Church Avenue and East 10th Street. Presented by the artists and students of Prospect Gymnastics, Alden Move Dance Theater, Cynthia King Dance, Ezra Guitar, and Maxine Feldman.
  • Face Painting at the Empire BlueCross BlueShield booth (between Stratford and Westminster Roads)
