Check Out Ditmas Park CSA Recipes Through Holla Bread

CSA stir fry from jennifer marion

Neighbor Jennifer Marion recently started a food blog, Holla Bread, that follows her recipes using ingredients received from the Ditmas Park CSA. Included in this season’s recipes are a Quinoa Crust Quiche, Garlic Scape Pesto, Tofu Veggie Stir-Fry, and more.

Jennifer, who moved to the neighborhood last fall and is working on a graduate degree in clinical psychology, says:

I just joined the CSA this year in order to support local agriculture and get more involved in my neighborhood, and I’m so excited by all the delicious food and great people I’ve met so far!
I started the blog as a teenager when I was learning to cook, in order to document recipes for myself as I learned them, but I’ve used it less frequently in the past few years.
I occasionally get inspired to update and share recipes with my friends. This summer I’m hoping that documenting my CSA cooking will help me learn to plan meals around local ingredients and share ideas with other CSAers.

Check out Jenny’s recipes whether or not you’re in the CSA, and if you like them, encourage her to keep posting.
