Check Out CAMBA's Hydroponic Farm On Tuesday, December 3

Wonder how CAMBA manages to feed 5,000 neighbors every month? One of the ways is through their innovative hydroponic farm, which produces approximately 70-80 bags of lettuce per week. The farm’s first crop of romaine and oak leaf lettuce was harvested about a month and a half ago, and now CAMBA is inviting curious Ditmas Parkers to come check out what happens behind the scenes.

Neighbors are invited to an open house for the farm on Tuesday, December 3 from 3-4:30pm at CAMBA’s Beyond Hunger Food Pantry (2241 Church Avenue between Flatbush and Bedford Avenues), including a tour, cooking demo, light refreshments, and a farmer on hand to discuss how it all works.
