Changes To Look Out For On Local Subway Lines This Weekend
The G train continues experiencing disruptions because of work on the tunnel, you’ll want to watch out along the F train if you’re headed into lower Manhattan, plus some more changes this weekend to our local subway lines. Details via the MTA:
Jamaica-bound F trains run via the A from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St
Weekend, 11:45pm Friday to 5am Monday, August 15-18
No Jamaica-bound service at York St, East Broadway, Delancey St, 2 Av, and B’way-Lafayette St. See travel alternatives here.
No G trains between Nassau Av and Court Sq
All times, until 5am Tuesday, September 2
G service operates between Church Av and Nassau Av. Manhattan Av shuttle buses run between Nassau Av and Court Sq, stopping at Greenpoint Av and 21 St. McGuinness Blvd shuttle buses run between the Lorimer St L stop and Court Sq, stopping near G stations at Nassau Av, Greenpoint Av, and 21 St. See the full details here.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn

No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
Additionally, look out for changes further along the 4, D, F, Q, and R lines.
