Changes To Local Subway Lines This Week


The snowy weather conditions continue to cause some delays this morning, but so far it looks like most planned service changes for this week are still on:

Wakefield-bound 2 trains run local from Times Sq-42 St to 96 St
Flatbush Av-bound 2 trains run local from 96 St to Chambers St
Beginning 12:01am, Tuesday, February 4 to Friday, February 7
Allow additional travel time.

Woodlawn-bound 4 trains run local from Brooklyn Bridge to Grand Central-42 St
Beginning 12:01am, Tuesday, February 4 to Friday, February 7
Allow additional travel time.

145 St-bound B trains run local from Kings Highway to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday to Friday until February 28
Allow additional travel time.

Norwood-bound D trains run local via the A from W 4 St to 59 St-Columbus Circle
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Tuesday, February 4 to Thursday, February 6
No Norwood-bound D service at 34 St-Herald Sq, 42 St-Bryant Pk, 47-50 Sts, and 7 Av.

No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.

Coney Island-bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Kings Highway
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday to Friday until February 21

Trains stop at Church Ave and Newkirk Plaza. Sometimes scheduled changes do get cancelled, so check MTA.info for the latest updates.
