He then went to the New Beginnings Charter School in Bedford Stuyvesant:
District-Charter Partnerships are an innovative model that allows teachers to collaborate and share best practices. The math class I visited today at Bedford Stuyvesant New Beginnings Charter School #inBrooklyn is an example of the benefits of this type of partnership. pic.twitter.com/NRG1OGvCe5

Chalkbeat has been doing an excellent job of getting to really know where the Chancellor Stands on issues that matter to those of us with school-age children (condensing NY1 sitdown) and the 7 issues that Carranza will have to contend with as chancellor. State Testing in Math and English Language Arts started today for 3rd-8th graders, and some parents were not happy with the new Chancellor’s views on opting their children out.
