Community Board 2 approved a liquor license application at Monday night’s Executive Committee meeting for 474 Group Inc., which plans to open a restaurant at 474 Myrtle Avenue (between Washington Avenue and Hall Street). The group, including Keith Gladding and others who currently own and operate the Chance 11 Bar and Grill at 895 Fulton Street (between Vanderbilt and Clinton avenues), hope to open their new spot in late October.

The establishment, taking over the former Cielo Bar and El Patron space, will feature eight tables and 28 seats. A sign in the window says they will be called Brooklyn Eats, and intend to serve beer and wine. The restaurant will be open seven days a week, and have a closing time of 1 am. There will not be any live music or outdoor seating.

As of the meeting, the group had not yet submitted its application to the state liquor authority.
