This Sunday, April 19 is Earth Day, and Prospect Park is hosting its annual family-friendly celebration at the Audubon Center from 1-4pm. From fishing lessons to a scrappy musical parade, kids of all ages will find something to enjoy:

Fishing Lessons, 1-4pm
Enjoy this fun introduction to catch-and-release fishing. Alliance naturalists will teach participants how to tie a fishing knot, attach bait and cast a line to a try and hook a fish!
Raptor Meet and Greet, 1-3pm
Get face to face with real birds of prey!
Nature’s Helpers, 2-3pm
Learn how to keep Prospect Park healthy by cleaning up the lakeshore or spreading mulch.
Bash the Trash Performance & Parade, 3-4pm
Make instruments out of recycled materials then jam to an exciting performance and parade led by Bash the Trash.

There are more fun things for the kids to enjoy outdoors at the park this weekend, as well — check the calendar here.
