Celebrate Earth Day at Greenwood Playground
Friends of Greenwood Playground kicks off its first Earth Day event of the season Sunday,
4/21 from 11-4. Come and enjoy the fun.
Events during Earth Day include:
- 11:45 am–Mike Gold “The Ballooniac” (Be sure to pick up your balloon scraps once it pops.)
- 12:30 pm–Tom Chapin (pictured above)
- Face painting
- Glitter tattos
There will also be information tables from:
- Youth Market (which will be open again soon)
- National Grid
- Prospect Farm
But wait, there’s more. Friends of Greenwood Playground will be leading a playground trash pickup! Cleaning litter is a fabulous gift to Mother Earth on her day and a reminder to us all to keep our space clean.
