Celebrate Bastille Day And Chez Oskar’s 17th Anniversary Tomorrow
Happy Quatorze Juillet, Chez Oskar!
We don’t need a reason to visit and dine at Fort Greene favorite Chez Oskar (211 DeKalb Avenue), but when one comes along, who would complain? So come out tomorrow — Tuesday, July 14 — to celebrate the French bistro’s 17th anniversary, which is also Bastille Day (aka the holiday celebrating French independence)!
Starting at 6pm, there will be petanque (a French game that challenges teams to throw hollow metal balls as close as possible to a wooden ball, on a long strip of sand), live music, burlesque, a guillotine photo booth, and food specials — specials that will also continue all week long.
