Catch The NYC Unicycle Festival On Ocean Parkway Around 5 Tonight
Looking for something fun and quirky to do tonight? You’ll be able to catch a glimpse of the NYC Unicycle Festival as it reaches the bicycle path at Ocean Parkway around 5pm – when the cyclists, often decked out in all kinds of colorful attire, will be turning onto the roadway from Park Circle.
The 13-mile ride, which is now celebrating its fifth year, travels from the Brooklyn Bridge to Coney Island. At 2pm, unicyclists will meet up on the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge and proceed to pass through Grand Army Plaza into Prospect Park, enter Ocean Parkway, and arrive at the Coney Island boardwalk around 6pm. There will be a dinner break at Nathan’s at 6:30pm, following by a group photo at the Wonder Wheel at 7:15pm.
At 8pm, a one-wheel stage show for people of all ages will be presented by Kyle Petersen and Tina Cione at Coney Island USA Shooting Gallery Arts Annex, located at 1214 Surf Avenue.
