Catch a Screening of a Doc Featuring Vox Pop’s Sander Hicks

Tonight at 8:30pm Brooklyn Heights Cinema is showing the 2002 film Horns and Halos, a documentary about former Vox Pop owner Sander Hicks and his underground imprint Soft Skull Press as he republished a shelved George W. Bush biography. Brownstoner notes that it’s part of a series at the theater showcasing films by Brooklyn-based production studio RUMUR.

The DVD is also available for sale on RUMUR’s site, and on Netflix, though not for streaming.
