“Waking up to see all the stuff in your car dumped out and only the 10$ of change taken feels weird,” a neighbor reported on Twitter this morning, noting that the car had been parked right outside of his apartment on St Johns Place near 7th Avenue. Anyone else notice any break-ins on that block lately?

Other recent reports of crime in Park Slope include:

• People still love print, apparently! Two men allegedly stole more than $1,000 worth of books from the Barnes & Noble on 7th Ave on October 8. [DNAinfo]

• A man was arrested after police say he attacked a 27-year-old man with a box cutter after an argument on Union Street near 7th Ave on October 13 around 11pm. [DNAinfo]

• A robbery victim needed a quick drink after a man held him up on his stoop on Lincoln Place at 5am on October 16, though police say the suspect, who has not been caught, only got away with $4. [Brooklyn Paper]

• Police arrested a man they say held up three women at gunpoint around 10pm on October 16 on 5th Avenue near 8th Street. [Brooklyn Paper]
