Can't Wait Until Fall? Attend These CaribBEING Summer Pop-Up Events
Awesome news, Flatbush film buffs–you don’t have to wait until Halloween to check out cinema from local arts non-profit caribBEING. The organization is holding a free series of pop-up screenings in our area in the coming weeks.
- Friday, August 23, 8-11pm: check out a film and art presentation at Volume II Mas Camp, 115 Veronica Place between Albemarle Road and Tilden Ave.
- Thursday, August 29 and Friday, August 30, time TBA: catch caribBEING with the West Indian American Day Carnival Association outside the Brooklyn Museum, 200 Eastern Parkway between Underhill and Washington Avenues.
- Saturday, September 7, at dusk: attend a Youth Program at Tilden Park, Tilden Avenue between E 48th and E 49th Streets.
- Saturday, September 28, at dusk: attend Reggae on d’Junction at the Flatbush-Nostrand Junction.
- Saturday, October 26, at dusk: celebrate at the Wyckoff House Halloween Party, 5816 Clarendon Road between E 59th Street and Ralph Avenue.
