Cafe Regular Featured In Punk Rock Jesus Comic Book

We already knew that Mary’s Bar (5th Avenue at 22nd Street) was immortalized in the pages of a comic book, but did you know that Cafe Regular (11th Street, between 4th and 5th Avenue) was featured in the same series?

Created by Brooklyn-based Sean Gordon Murphy, Punk Rock Jesus is about the near-future, when the clone of Jesus Christ grows up in front of the entire world – on a reality TV series. You can spot Cafe Regular in a scene from issue 2 (shown above).
