Cabs Collide On Bath Ave & Bay 26th Causing Commotion
Two cabs crashed into each other in Bath Beach yesterday, causing quite a commotion.
At around 3pm, a loud slam rang out, prompting neighbors to come out of their homes. Residents said that two competing car services – one Bay Express and the other unmarked – had collided on the corner of Bath Avenue and Bay 26th Street.
A witness told us that the Bay Express cab ran a stop sign, slamming into the second cab.
The Bay Express cab suffered severe damage to its hood and was leaking oil when we arrived. Bystanders urged him to turn off the ignition.
No one was hurt.
