Bus Strikes Two Pedestrians, Trapping One

An MTA bus hit two pedestrians near the corner of Benson Avenue and 25th Avenue yesterday, temporarily trapping one person underneath.

According to an FDNY source quoted by website DNAinfo, rescue workers arrived at the scene of the accident at around 6:23 p.m.

The bus was on its way to the Ulmer Park Bus Depot (2449 Harway Ave) near Cropsey Avenue when it struck the two victims. Both were reportedly taken to an undisclosed area hospital in stable condition.
