Burglar Destroys Door During Attempted Break-In, Police Say

Police are searching for a would-be burglar who manhandled a door last week while trying to break into home.

The suspect attempted to enter a house, near the intersection of Parkway Court and Hubbard Street, just before 11pm on Saturday, according to authorities. He tried to break through the door, causing damage to the doorframe and lock, before giving up and fleeing empty handed, police say.

The NYPD provided a surveillance photo of the suspect.
