Burglar Forces In Door Of Red Hook Apartment Across From P.S. 15, Police Say
Police are searching for a suspect who was involved in an apartment burglary last month.
On Monday, December 12, 2016, at approximately 9:30am, an individual forced open an apartment door in the vicinity of Sullivan Street and Van Brunt Street in Red Hook.
The suspect went inside and swiped a cell phone from a hung jacket. The burglar then fled via foot into the street.
No one was injured in the incident.
The incident happened during a school day and in the vicinity of P.S. 15 Patrick F. Daly Magnet School for the Arts at 71 Sullivan Street.
Police describe the suspect as male, Hispanic, 5’10”, and last seen wearing dark color clothing.
