Brownstone Belt Real Estate Roundup: St. Patrick’s Specials

St. Patrick’s Day is this week, which means that you can be sure that I’ll lift a glass to the awful truth (whatever that may be). But where — a bar? Or perhaps in the comfort of my own home? And shouldn’t your home also be comfortable? These certainly are:

  1. When you look at the prices of these apartments, who can afford to live in NYC, and it is getting to the point of who really wants to. DOT has made it impossible to move throughout the city. I was driving down Berry Street in Williamsburg and it has become towering buildings with huge billboards lining the streets. Astoria has been destroyed by overbuilding, Sunset Park is also a disaster. What happened to city planning.
