Brooklyn’s Forecast Looks Much Better From Here on Out

It’s been a strange couple of weeks. First, a warm and powerful tropical storm and then a nasty winter snow storm hit in rapid succession.

Now, the weather seems to be looking much better. Finally. Although tonight will still be in the 30s and the snow will stick around, temperatures over the next few days will creep up through the 50s and even hit the mid-60s on Veteran’s Day. It’ll be breezy today but mostly clear through the next week, says the National Weather Service, offering welcome relief to those hit by the two storms. Check out the full NWS forecast here.

At the very least, this is the first time in what feels like a long time without frightening forecasts and scary skies. Enjoy your weekend.

For now, the wet snow and cold winds are still out there, so be mindful of the trees. We had trouble with falling trees last night. If you spot fallen trees, call 311 to report it and then send us info and photos at ditmasparkcorner@gmail.com.
