Another Clinton Hill business is saying farewell, as Brooklyn Victory Garden (920 Fulton Street) shutters is doors this week after five years serving locally, ethically and sustainably-sourced food and gifts to residents.

The sad news comes as businesses continue to come and go in our neighborhoods of ongoing and rising real estate prices, new developments, and increased competition.

Brooklyn Victory Garden is currently offering 35 percent off all inventory until it runs out, and doesn’t anticipate being open past Saturday, February 6, at the latest, so get over their before or after work this week while you still can to stock up on goods and say goodbye to your favorite clerks.

Fortunately, many of the employees also love in the area and work at other neighborhood businesses, so we’ll probably be able to see them around town.

We’ll miss you, Brooklyn Victory Garden!
