Brooklyn Sandbox Early Learning Center Coming To 6th Ave

Good news for families on that epic South Slope preschool hunt. Brooklyn Sandbox, a new early learning center for children ages 2 through 5, located on 6th Avenue, between 15th and 16th Street, will open their doors in September 2014.

According to their website, the center’s “play- based learning experience is holistic, using social studies, emergent literacy, early math concepts, music, art and physical education to strengthen and increase the knowledge and development of each child.”

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2014-2015 school year, which runs September through August, and can be found on the Brooklyn Sandbox website. Monthly tuition prices range from $475 for two afternoons a week, to $1,795 for five extended days (8am to 6pm) per week.
